North Idaho Mountain Outfitting 06 Bear Report

The year 2006 was another great year for our North Idaho Bear hunters. 10 hunters took home 8 Bears (4 with color). Pat & Nancy from Chicago each took great Bears during the Fall hunt (see picture below). Congratulations to Pat and Nancy on your successful hunt.

Greg and son, Brian each took home color phase Bears, and a year's supply of Bear sausage (pictures below). They have already booked for one of the Spring hunts. This year Brian's wife, Amy, will be joining them on this exciting adventure.

Tom from Colorado downed a large color phase Bear with his bow. He will be making a full body mount for his trophy room (picture below). Congrats Tom!

Rod flew out from New York to harvest this Bear (picture below). Congratulations Rod, and we will see you again soon.

The granddaddy of Black Bears was taken by Don from Missouri. This 350 lb. Bear would have made Pope & Young if taken with a bow. Don already has booked for next year, and will bring a friend (picture below). Now, that's a rug! Good job Don.

George of Georgia had a successful hunt, and here he is with his Bear (view his Bear below).

We have already started booking for next year by offering 8 Spring Bear hunts during May 2007 and 8 Fall Bear hunts during September. Anyone who has hunted with us will confirm this is a quality adventure in the heart of Bear country. Bow hunters especially appreciate our sturdy tree stands over active bait locations--up close and personal.

Contact us directly or watch for our ad on Ebay, starting Nov. 15. Also, watch for our Elk hunt ads for 8 bow hunters and 8 rifle hunters. Starting this year, we offer 2 Mountain Lion hunts and 2 late buck White Tail hunts. We are in the early stages of securing a lease on 5,000 acres in prime Mule Deer country which will be reserved for archery hunters only. Bow hunters, this one's for you.

Spring Bears have heavy pelts and long claws. They are just out of hibernation, and tend to be lighter in weight than Fall Bears which are preparing for their long winter naps.

We have wood heated wall tents with comfortable cots. Your camp cook provides home cooked meals. 2 hunters/1 guide. Your guide will place you on a tree stand 15-30 yards over an active baited location. Archery hunters and rifle hunters are equally served.

We are proud to offer Bear hunts to you for $1,650, plus sales tax, license and tag. Shuttle service is provided from Spokane International Airport for $100 round trip. Elk and Deer hunting are $4,000, plus tax, license and tag. The Mountain Lion hunt is offered at $4,750, pl;us tax, license and tag.
