Mule Deer
Mule deer are frequently seen while elk
hunting. They live in high country, traveling
on game trails much the way elk do. We have
many large, antlered mule deer bucks. Many
elk and bear hunters will add a deer tag
to their hunt, agreeing to a trophy fee
if successful at bagging a mule deer.

White Tail
White tail hunting is a separate hunt, during
the rut. We work scrapes and hunt from tree stands
on known travel routes along creeks. Expect to
be hunting in snow and cold. Expect to see bucks
140-160 B & C score with an occasional 170-185.
Hunter Safety: If you were born
after 1975, you will need to show valid proof
of completion of the hunters safety course, or
show your license from another state.
Safety Orange: is not required in Idaho, however
for safety reasons we recommend an orange vest
and orange backpack.
