The forests of Northern Idaho are honeycombed with established trails, some maintained for horseback access to the back country. North Idaho Mountain Outfitting, LLC has established wall tent camps for your outdoor adventure. Whether your horseback adventure is for a few hours, overnight or as long as a week: we offer safe, comfortable adventures which can be tailored to your group.

" On your trip you may encounter a mountain man or two who will entertain your group.
" Overnight camping trips will include an evening marshmallow roast with western songs.
" On clear nights, your guide will point out constellations and show you how to locate the North Star, explain Northern Lights (not always visible) and discuss meteor showers (occasionally seen)
" Guides will entertain your group with local stories of Nell Shipman (movie star), mountain men, Sundance Fire and more.
" A local Sheriff foils a hanging in progress when a mountain man catches up with a young "city slicker" who had tried to run off with his daughter. All turns out well when the Sheriff poses a solution------marriage.

We offer the following Back Country Camping Adventures with 4 person minimum: Spike Camp 2 days 1 night Outpost Camp 3 days 2 nights Mountain Man Camp 7 days 6 nights We will tailor a trip just for you.

SUMMER HORSE BACK ADVENTURES:

Trail Rides: 4 person minimum
2 hour trail ride $50 per person
4 hour trail ride $90 per person
7 hour trail ride $150 per person

Back Country Camping: 4 person minimum

Spike Camp 2 days 1 night $250 per person
Outpost Camp 3 days 2 nights $500 per person
Mountain Man Camp 7 days 6 nights $1300 per person

Hayride/Cookout: 20 person minimum $45 per person
